The Avengers – What Did You Think Of The Movie?!

The Avengers Movie

I went to see The Avengers over the Memorial weekend.  If they had charged twice what they did…it would still have been worth it!  The acting was intense and had most of my favorite actors.  The dialogue was witty, sarcastic and extremely well written.  Loki continues his role as the bad guy from the movie “Thor” and he is suitably rotten, arrogant and apparently impossible to kill.  The animation and CGI, especially for the Hulk was top notch.

There were almost too many one liners to pick a favorite, but Thor’s comment about his brother made me laugh out loud.
Black Widow says: Loki’s killed eighty people in two days.
Thor says: He was adopted.

Ironman is, well…Ironman – Does a Superhero get any better?!
The action was non stop and I plan to go see it again, and purchase it when the Blu-ray is available.
This was my favorite movie this year!

So, tell me…What was your favorite line or scene from The Avengers? 🙂

  1. I just saw the Avengers for the first time as well! Best line : ‘He was adopted’. Best scene : where the Hulk is smashing Loki into the ground like a rag doll 🙂

You didn’t ask but my TWO favourite characters were Loki and the human Dr. Banner 😀

Can hardly wait for the Avengers to come out on blu-ray 😀

  2. I have to agree with the the “He’s adopted” line. My husband and I both love that one. I also really love the scene where Hulk is beating the crap out of Loki right after he says he won’t be bullied. “Puny god” Another great scene is when Hulk just kind of sucker punches Thor after they kicked some Chitari butt. There are just too many great scenes. I can’t wait until it comes out on DVD.

  3. Better clench up, Legolas.

Ma’am, there’s only one God, and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t dress like that.

    TARGET ANGRY!

    I don’t see how that’s a party.

  4. With Joss Whedon, everything ends up being a cool line because he’s awesome like that. Captain America had my favorite:

    “Hulk. Smash.”

I wanted to start smashing the theater.
